COURSE SEARCH

Paid English (ESOL) Classes

High Beginner and Low Intermediate ESOL Classes. Twelve (12) weeks for $400.

Registration is open for the fee-based English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Classes. The classes will run for twelve weeks at the Fall River and Taunton campuses. Please be sure to register for a convenient location.  

Cost: $400 (includes instruction, textbooks, 6-month subscription to Burlington English language learning software).

Locations (choose one):

Fall River: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., January 13, 2025 - April 7, 2025.
Taunton: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., January 14, 2025 - April 3, 2025.  

Registration

You must take a placement test before enrolling in the fee-based class.

Please complete the to register and schedule a Zoom placement test.

Once you have completed the forms you will receive an email with the next steps.

Deadline to register: January 7, 2025.

You will receive an email with the next steps after your placement testing.

Free ESOL Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Classes

Free ESOL Classes offered through Adult Education at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ are funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DESE). 

The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Adult Education ESOL Information Form will re-open on April 1, 2025.

Due to the high demand for free English classes and the limited number of vacancies, students are chosen to participate in through a lottery drawing held two times each year (July and December).

Lottery Eligibility

To begin the process of entering the Fall 2025 Free ESOL Class Lottery, complete the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Adult Education ESOL Information for the Fall 2025 Free ESOL Class Lottery between April 1, 2025 and June 15, 2025. 

Students who complete the Information Form will receive an email to schedule an appointment for placement testing. Students are eligible for the lottery after completing the required placement test.
