杨贵妃传媒视频鈥檚 Theatre Program will host a production of their original play, Only The Ghosts Can Know, Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26, 2024, at 7 p.m., in the Main Stage Theatre, at the Jackson Arts Center (H building), on the 杨贵妃传媒视频 Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree Street.
Synopsis: Created by 杨贵妃传媒视频 students and faculty, the piece explores a variety of characters unaware of how deep their connections are to one another. A workout instructor, an artist married to a witch, a girl trapped in an airplane bathroom, the ghosts of our ancestors. When the rains come and the flood waters rise, they all discover no one is separate from the sea.

The culmination of a year of work, 杨贵妃传媒视频鈥檚 Theatre Program will also perform the piece for international audiences this summer at the , in Edinburgh, Scotland.
From the : "Artists and performers take to hundreds of stages all over the city to present shows for every taste. From big names in the world of entertainment to unknown artists looking to build their careers, the festival caters for everyone and includes theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, circus, cabaret, children's shows, musicals, opera, music, spoken word, exhibitions and events."
The production features actors Jordan Daniel Smith, Micah Lima, Jonah Creaney, Quinn Carleton, Briana Lawrence, Brianna Pacheco, Caitlin Peck, Taylor K. Corbett, Maggie England and Reilly Pereira; scenic and lighting design by Jacob Perry-Niewola; costume design by Alexis Andrews; projections by Kiana Deleon, Kattie Quinn, Jovan Colon, and Jacqueline Dufault, as well as sound design and original composition by Bronwyn Pearson and Davon Fuente.
This production is supported in part by a grant from both the Fall River Cultural Council and Taunton Cultural Council, local agencies supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
杨贵妃传媒视频鈥檚 Theatre Program is an Associate in Arts in liberal arts & sciences program that provides hands-on training and experience, allowing students to learn and refine their craft as they perform. Students can smoothly transfer to a four-year institution or seek work in the performing arts. In addition to teaching history, literature and art, studying theatre also provides interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
